ALEXANDRA’s FUN FACTS -

(Alexandra Fletcher is my 13 year old daughter; and a frequent visitor of both the
National Aquarium and National Zoo. She loves marine life and animals; and
wants to share a fun fact with you each issue of our fun newsletter!)

JELLY FISH

Alexandra says to me – “Jellyfish are older than you, Daddy." (only by over 650 million years or so)

My daughter tells me that Jellyfish do not have a brain!

Alexandra tells me that the Box Jellyfish has enough venom to kill over 50 people.

I hope I do not run into that creature!

Quick side note - Alexandra really wants me to take her to the outstanding Georgia Aquarium on one of our next trips. I guess we will be going to Atlanta.
